Who is Alex Michel?
A life shaped by music, sound and perception
Alex Michel grew up with music. He entered the conservatory at the age of 8 and discovered a relationship with sound that went far beyond traditional musical training.
At 12, he encountered sound synthesis for the first time: a vast creative territory where invisible frequencies, textures and sonic matter could be shaped from the ground up.
From an early age, Alex experienced the world through a particular sensitivity to energy, inner states and the subtle dimensions of perception. During his teenage years, this curiosity naturally led him towards personal development, consciousness studies and the scientific exploration of sound.
He became interested in psychoacoustics, which studies the relationship between sound and human perception; neuroacoustics, which explores how sound stimuli may influence brain activity; and bioacoustics, which observes the interaction between vibration and living systems.
At first, this research was driven by intellectual curiosity and creative exploration. He did not yet know that, years later, it would become part of his own personal path back to balance.
